About Our Family

Welcome to Found Curios, where the magic of nature comes alive through our Unique Nature Curiosities. My love for nature started in childhood, learning from my mother and grandparents who were passionate about gardening, fishing, and exploring the outdoors. Growing up in Michigan, I was surrounded by plants and animals, which inspired me to become a certified Herbalist and continue learning about medicinal plants.

Now, my family and I live on a small farm where we grow mushrooms, raise bees, and have a lavender farm for essential oils. We aim to live sustainably by producing our own food like meat, butter, and bread, reducing our need for grocery stores.

At Found Curios, we're excited to share the beauty of nature with you. Our collection includes carefully chosen natural items like shells, fossils, and artifacts. We hope to inspire families to explore the world around them, sparking curiosity and a love for nature in both kids and adults.

We travel across the USA to find these treasures, always collecting them responsibly and following ethical guidelines. We ensure that no animals are harmed and respect all legal rules. The items might have signs of their natural origins, like dirt or sharp edges, but we clean them gently to keep their natural charm.
